Pop Up for Paid Leave

This Mother’s Day weekend, in partnership with MomsRising and leading businesses and brands, we’re launching “Pop Ups for Paid Leave” — the largest collective action among businesses giving back to mothers in a single day. On May 10, this nationwide, community-powered action will host pop-up events in cities across the country—NYC, DC, Philadelphia, Nashville, Hoboken and Cleveland—to offer moms and caregivers the community and mutual aid we need and to call for the policies we deserve.

With more than 60 mission-aligned brands contributing more than $130,000 in goods and services, these events will feature everything from breakfast and treatments to items like strollers, formula, and breast pumps to clothing and life coaching services — offered by popular brands such as Bobbie, Ritual, HATCH, and Happiest Baby. Each event will serve as a rallying point for collective action and a thank you to the mothers and mother figures who are often also advocates.

We’re asking moms across the country what universal paid leave would give you — how it would have changed your life, how it will change your world. Look for the responses online and *in the streets.

For moms who can’t attend in person, we’re launching a nationwide digital giveaway of everything from soccer tickets to postpartum care packages.

Pop Up for Paid Leave Giveaway 

Official Rules for Paid Leave for All Giveaways conducted on May 11, 2025.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING. Sponsor makes no representation or warranty concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize awarded. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize. Automated or robotic Entries will be disqualified. Any attempt to enter a Giveaway more than once or more than one Giveaway on May 11, 2025, by using multiple/different Instagram accounts will void all of your entries and you will be disqualified. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. All Entries must be received within the Entry Period advertised in the Instagram post announcing the Giveaway.  Sponsor is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification to a winner for any reason, including, but not limited to, failure to receive notification due to winner’s Instagram account being deactivated or suspended or winner’s failure to monitor its account or see Sponsor’s DM notification.

By entering, you affirm you have reviewed, accepted, and agreed to these Official Rules, including the following terms and conditions:

  1. Eligibility: The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the entry date who has not previously entered a Paid Leave for All Giveaway on May 11, 2025. Employees of Hopewell Fund, its independent contractors, and suppliers (collectively “Employees”), as well as immediate family members of Employees and/or those living in the same household as Employees, are not eligible to enter the Giveaway. The Giveaway are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
  2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Sponsor with respect to all aspects of the Giveaway as final and binding.
  3. Entry Period: Entries will be accepted on May 11, 2025, during the timeframe advertised in the Instagram post announcing the Giveaway (the “Entry Period”). For a chance to win the prize, your entry must be received within the Entry Period. Sponsor reserves the right to change the Entry Period or cancel the Giveaway for any reason.
  4. How to Enter:  The only way to enter the Giveaway is by dropping any comment below the Instagram post announcing the Giveaway. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Paid Leave for All. You may enter only once for all Giveaways on May 11, 2025. You may not enter more times by using multiple Instagram accounts, email addresses, identities, or devices, or by any other means, to circumvent this limitation. If Sponsor determines you have violated this rule, your entry or entries will be discarded and you will not be entered for a chance to win a prize.
  5. Prizes: The winner of each Giveaway (the “Winner”) will receive the prize/s described in the Instagram Post advertising the Giveaway. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by the winner is permitted. No prize may be transferred to any other person. Sponsor reserves the right to award an alternative prize of approximately equal value to the estimated retail value set forth in the Instagram post advertising the Giveaway. The actual/appraised value of the prize may differ from the estimated retail value. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All prize-related expenses and taxes, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner, except that Sponsor will pay to ship the prize to the winner. Sponsor is not responsible for any damage or destruction of any prize once it has left Sponsor’s possession. 
  6. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the Giveaway.
  7. Winner Selection, Notification, Alternative Selection: The winner will be selected on the designated date and at the approximate time noted in the Instagram post advertising the Giveaway under the supervision of Sponsor or its vendor. The winner will be randomly selected from the pool of all eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by direct message (DM) to winner’s Instagram account and must contact Sponsor and claim the prize by sending a direct message (DM) to the Paid Leave for All Instagram account within forty-eight (48) hours after notification. Sponsor shall have no liability for the winner’s failure to receive or see such notification or for the winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within the period required above or fails to timely return a completed and executed tax identification document, declaration, and release as required by Sponsor, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries for the Giveaway. If a winner is disqualified, deemed to be ineligible, or cannot accept a prize as stated pursuant to these Official Rules for any reason, the winner’s prize will be deemed forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries. These Official Rules apply to any alternate winner selected to the same extent they apply to the original winner. Receipt by the winner of the prize is conditioned upon Sponsor and the winner’s compliance with any and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY THE WINNER (AS DETERMINED BY SPONOR IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN THE WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED. 
  8. Disclaimer of Warranty: Any prize awarded by Sponsor is awarded “as is” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
  9. Rights Granted by You:  By entering the Giveaway, you must share your personal information with Sponsor. Personal information collected will be used to administer the Giveaway and award the prize to the winner. All entries become the property of the Sponsor upon receipt and will not be acknowledged or cancelled.
  10. Release and Waiver of Claims and Indemnification: By participating in the Giveaway, you agree to release forever, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor, Meta, Instagram, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, vendors, volunteers, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, successors, and assigns (the “Released Parties”) from and against any liability whatsoever for any and all claims, costs, losses, or damages of any kind (including, without limitation, those related to personal injury, death, damage to property, infringement of proprietary rights, rights of publicity, privacy or defamation) arising out of or in connection with your or any third party’s participation in the Giveaway and/or a Giveaway-related activity including, but not limited to award, acceptance, use or misuse of any prize. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all liability resulting or arising from or in connection with the Giveaway and waive all rights to bring any claim, action, or proceeding against any of the Released Parties. 
  11. Limitation of Liability: The Released Parties assume no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of the Giveaway; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, camera, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Giveaway; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet or website or any combination thereof; (e) suspended or discontinued Internet, wireless or landline phone service; or (f) any injury or damage to your or to any other person’s computer or mobile device which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Giveaway or download of any materials related to the Giveaway.
  12. Disputes: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of the Rules or the rights and obligations of you or Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Washington, DC, without giving effect to any conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other laws. BY ENTERING THE GIVEAWAY, YOU AGREE THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE GIVEAWAY, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO YOUR ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY) NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY US DOLLARS (US$50), BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL YOU BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND YOU HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVE ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY US DOLLARS (US$50), AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (4) YOUR REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND YOU IRREVOCABLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
  13. MISCELLANEOUS: If for reasons beyond Sponsor’s control (including, but not limited to, tampering, false or fraudulent entries, or computer virus infection), the Giveaway is not able to run as planned, Sponsor, at its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to cancel or modify the Giveaway, without notice or liability. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to award the prize(s) randomly from eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of suspected impairment. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to have tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or the law and reserves the right to seek prosecution of such individual to the full extent of the law By entering the Giveaway you waive any rights to claim ambiguity of these Official Rules. Headings are solely for the convenience of reference and will not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of the Rules or any provision hereof. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in the Giveaway advertisement on Instagram, these Official Rules, or in any Giveaway-related materials produced by Sponsor or its agents, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control, and the discrepancy will be resolved in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.
  14. Meta and Instagram:  The Giveaway is sponsored by Sponsor and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta or Instagram.
  15. Winner’s List: If you wish to learn the name and city of the winner of any of the Paid Leave for All Giveaways conducted on May 11, 2025, please mail a request to Paid Leave for All, Attn: Winner List, 1828 L St NW, Washington, DC 20036. Your request must specify which Giveaway or Giveaways for which you would like the information and a return address. Requests received after June 30, 2025, will not be accepted.

  17. Confirmation:  By entering, You, the Contestant, have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all of the Rules and Regulations herein.
